The top NBA Betting pick for December 27, 2025 comes from Toronto, Canada. It includes the most accurate Warriors at Raptors prediction. This game is the now traditional Sunday early tip off. The idea is purely commercial. It gives the fans in Europe a chance to watch an NBA game live at a normal time window. The game will start at 2030 UTC at the Scotiabank Arena, in Toronto, Ontario. It marks the start of a five game homestand for the Raptors, and a three-game road trip for the Warriors.
Betting Odds Overview

One of the best strategies in the world of sports betting is to look for value odds or undervalued markets/teams. We have discussed it detail in our almanac. Basically, you are looking for betting markets and/or teams that the bookies have underestimated. Of course, that’s not an easy job. In over 80% of the time, the odds are right as they should be. The books use complex mathematics models and have all the inside information. However, there will always be markets and teams where bookies will make a mistake. In these cases, the underdog will end up winning, while the bettors will cash in on excellent odds.
And that’s exactly what I’m seeing with this Warriors at Raptors NBA betting market. The Warriors have been struggling all season and sit just a game over 500 with a record of 16-15. The Raptors have the better overall record with 18 Wins and 14 Losses. The Raptors are also the much younger and more athletic team. And last but not least, the Raps are playing at home.
So all of these factors have me thinking that the bookies have underestimated the Raptors in that game. The Warriors are the favorites to win the contest at 1.58 on Money Line and a -4.5 points spread. Toronto offer 2.45 to win on Money Line and have a spread of +4.5 points. I believe it should be the other away around. I will dig into why that is the case in the next few lines of this NBA betting analysis.
Warriors Have Been A Mess All Year
The Golden State Warriors have been a mess the entire 2025 (and 2024). The sad part is that they are wasting Curry’s last good years. That’s similar to how the Lakers were with Kobe at the end. The Warriors are the second-oldest team in the NBA only behind the Clippers with an average age of 27.53 years. Actually, they might have taken over the first spot after the Clips broke up with Chris Paul (40).

I’ve always said that basketball is a young men’s game. It’s proven by the last few season’s champs. The Thunder have the sixth youngest roster in the league with an average age of 24.53. Especially with today’s emphasis on running up and down and shooting threes like crazy. This “new era” style of play is inspired by Steph Curry himself. To keep up with the high pace, it requires strong, young legs. And that’s why the Clippers are so trash. Their roster is full of big names. However, they are the oldest team in the league. They can’t keep up with them youngins.
And things get even worse with respect to this particular NBA betting pick and prediction. As old as the Warriors are, they will be playing against one of the youngest teams (9th) – the Toronto Raptors with an average age of 24.71 years. The Raps will be looking to push it after every Warriors miss. Drayomond Green and All Horford will have a hard time getting back in transition.
The Warriors are 28th in the league in Turnovers, making an average of 16.0 per game. Those turnovers will result in fast break points for the young Raps. That’s a major factor in our NBA betting prediction for today.
Steve Kerr has to take some of the blame for the Warriors’ downfall in recent years. He has been adamant to change their style of play. In fact, Draymond Green publicly said “the small ball ain’t working no more”. Things got out of hand in public last week as Kerr and Green had an altercation on the bench and Draymond left the game. Obviously, such things should be kept in house, and it only shows the Warriors have major locker room issues.
The Raptors Are A Solid Young Team

Make no mistake, the Raptors are trending in the right direction. They have some great pieces in their roster. The expected starting five against the Warriors tonight features Brandon Ingram, Immanuel Quickley Scotties Barnes, RJ Barrett, and Georgian center Mamukelashvili.
Ingram might be an All Star this season posting some solid numbers. He is averaging 21.9 PPG with 5.8 Rebounds and 3.8 Assists. The backcourt is also productive with former Knicks Quickley and Barrett averaging 16.1 and 19.4 PPG, respectively. And Scottie Barnes is one of the best young two-way players in the league. He is putting up great numbers across the board with 19.2 points, 7.9 rebounds and 5 assists.
It’s also interesting how the Raptors roster is constructed. Ujiri has put together long and athletic young players. They all share a similar build with a long wing span. This helps them, on defense and these Raptors put real effort on that end of the floor.
