Stabiliy in Rome? Lazio have kept their top players
Going into this season, Lazio have kept their core and that’s rather unusual for them as fans at tha capital have been accustomed to seeing the regular departure of their top players every summer. Ciro Imobille is still leading the attack, and looks in fine already. Milinkovic-Savic who is rumored to leave during every transfer window, commonly associated with some of the biggest clubs, like Man United, Real, and Juve, has stayed on for yet another season, and that’s great news for Lazio. Luis Alberto and Felipe Anderson have been solid over the last few years, always looking to provide an attacking spark. Zaccagni is a very promising young Italian player that continues to impress on the left flank, and he will certainly create some troubles for Handanovic on Friday night.

Inter Looking Dangerous
Similar to Lazio, Inter are looking to build on last season as they did not sell any major players this summer, except for Ivan Perisic who left for Tottenham on a free transfer. They re-added Lukaku and the Belgian looks like he is back to having fun playing the game, scoring the first game and assisting Lautaru for a beautiful volley (watch below) in the second.
Heading into the season, there were serious rumous about possible departures of core players for Inter, in order to balance the financial records as the Italian club, despite its size and stature, has been losing about $100 million every fiscal year. PSG and Chelsea were lurking around, looking to buy Skrinar, Bastoni, and Dumfries.
It looks like the Nerazzuri will be able to hold on to their best defender – Milan Skrinar, as PSG are unwilling to match the $60 million price tag they’ve set for him. This is a really positive outcome for fans of the Milan giants as a possible departure of Skrinar will open a huge gap in their defense, and they have looked a bit shaky at back already. Inter sold the best right back in the world to PSG already – Asraf Hakimi, but they managed to fill the void with the Dutchman Demfries, but he was too heavily linked with a transfer away to Chelsea.
Under Simone Inzaghi, Inter have been a really fun side to watch. Always looking to attack, never sitting at the back, typically producing a lot spectacle in their matches. Basically, they have returned to their traditional “Pazza Inter” (Crazy Inter) style. They leak goals, too easily at times, but they create a lot of chances up front and play high-tempo games. They are the exact opposite of Mourinho’s Roma for example, who were sitting at back while playing at home against Cremonese (!) and ended up clinching 1-0 typical Jose win with the goal come from a corner kick. This is certainly not a game you will see from this Inter side. In fact, I have personally enjoyed watching Inter under Simoeone, although he does have his critiques amongst Inter faithful. They were unlucky not to have won the Scudetto last season, and they have looked to be on a redeem mission early on in this campaign.
